SCEdit is a Strategic Conquest™ V3 gamefile mini
editor. SCEdit has three functions:

(1) Makes all map squares visible in a Strategic
 Conquest V3 gamefile (you can thus see all of the
unexplored territory and see where the ememy
cities are located).

(2) Maximizes the strength (to 31) of any piece
(this is quite a bit above the normal strength of
a piece, which ranges from 1 to about 17).  As an
example, allows you to create "super" destroyers
or "super" bombers!

(3) Allows you to change any piece into any other
piece type; i.e. you may change a lowly fighter to
a bomber, or a submarine to a transport.  Note
that when you transform one piece into another
type of piece, the new piece retains the strength
and certain attributes of the old piece. Therefore
you should be careful about transforming pieces,
making sure only appropriate transformations
are done (do not transform pieces with no fuel
into bombers or land armies into ships, etc.)!
You may also wish to strengthen a piece once you
have transformed it.
